About the Opportunity

Accountable for the management and development of Nature’s Path Grocery and Drug Channel businesses in Quebec, consisting of a network of brokered retail representatives and retail accounts to build net revenues, increase margin and gain market share.

Critical Outcomes from the Job

Achievement of pre-determined Sales and Spend Budget by:

  • Developing a business plan and sales strategy for a specific regional market to ensure attainment of company sales goals and objectives.
  • Assisting customers in resolution of complaints in order to facilitate the continuation of re-orders of the Company’s products.
  • Creating and understanding promotional budgets and activities for the region by the retail account.

Achievement of brokered retail management by:

  • Setting promotional planners and goals for each of the assigned retail accounts.
  • Setting sales and spend goals for each broker and conducting quarterly reviews for these goals.
  • Provide training, support and evaluation of other sales personnel.

A commendable reputation of Nature’s Path in the business community and public by:

  • Respectfully and capably representing the best interests of Nature’s Path in all internal and external dealings.
  • Maintaining contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Success in this role will require:

Education

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related discipline preferred, or other job-related or equivalent business experience.

Experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in sales in the Natural and Grocery Trade or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in Category Management and Trade Marketing are assets.
  • Experience with broker networks and retail sales.
  • Demonstrated ability working with key software applications, such as Microsoft Office, Nielsen Answers, Retail Link, Aztec, Toolbox or Top Shelf.
  • Bilingual – fluent in English and French.
