About The Opportunity

The Digital Intern will provide day-to-day support to the Digital Team by assisting with website reviews & comments, SEO, social media engagement, email marketing & content marketing initiatives.

Please note that this role is a 6 month contract ending January 2018.

 

Critical outcomes for this role include:

Support the Digital Team to build the Nature’s Path, EnviroKidz and Que Pasa brands by:

Website Maintenance

  • Liaising with Brand Team & e-commerce partners for updated product status, removing discontinued products from both website and updating new products, packaging and nutritionals
  • Moderating web comments and reviews
  • Optimizing all content for keywords and SEO best practices

Social Media Engagement

  • Responding to consumer questions on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Content aggregation and moderation of campaign specific initiatives

Content Marketing

  • Manage all Blog formatting, posting & publishing
  • Manage all Recipe page formatting, posting and publishing
  • Creating weekly external newsletters, overseeing creative and working with graphics
  • Planning and executing photoshoots with photographers
  • Lead the filing and organizing of content files; Manage recipe photos, word docs and blog post filing; Manage receipe photo licensing and rights; Manage contributor profiles
  • Ordering product and sample requests for contributors and photo shoots
  • Assistance executing digital campaigns and organizing all campaign assets

Internal Communications

  • Writing the internal newsletter, liaising with HR team for stories
  • Information organization; create a naming convention and overhaul where and how all product descriptions (digital, packaging, special retailers) are stored/formatted


Success in this role will require:

Experience

  • Some experience in an office environment is an asset
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Basic understanding on Website CMS
  • Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing practices
  • Good eye for photography, composition and styling
  • Strong project management skills
  • Media/marketing/PR degree preferred
