About The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our Marketing team. In this paid and full-time internship position, you’ll develop your professional graphic design skills by helping the Marketing Team tell the Nature’s Path story through packaging, trade and consumer advertising, promotions and digital design support. General duties include design, editing, production and technical support for the graphic design team.

Please note that this is a 6 month contract. 

Critical outcomes for this role include:

Assisting the Graphic Design Team to build the Nature’s Path brand by:

• Production support including web image sourcing and placement, box shot clipping, minor packaging updates
• Design support including expanding aligned designs across multiple packaging formats, sales projects, updating sell sheets and existing ad copy
• Administrative work to improve the flow of communication within the team including maintaining the photo asset system, developing standard operating procedures for web shots, building a visual asset library.
• Assuming a leading role on at least one design project from start to finish, including presenting and defending it to stakeholders.

Supporting Nature’s Path’s internal marketing department by:

• Participating and adding creative input to department brainstorms.
• Completing other duties as assigned by the Graphics Team and Creative Team Lead.

Success in this role will require:

• Some relevant experience on Graphic Design projects.
• Experience working in administrative environment an asset.
• CS Suite 5, 6 or Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign minimum)
• Web & video experience an asset
• Intermediate MS Office - Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook
• Diploma or Degree from a recognized Graphic Design Program
